Credo

(Words of an unknown music teacher with slight modifications)

We love music to play and to sing,

To relax and have fun, to dance, yes.

But,  even more

So we will be human,

So we will recognize beauty,

So we will be sensitive,

So we will be closer to an infinite beyond this world

So we will have something to cling to,

So we will have more love, more compassion, more

Gentleness, more good... more life.

With music, it is our inner song that comes to life and, if we listen,

teaches us how to live.

Of what value will it be to make a prosperous living unless

we have that capacity?
